How it works

From a blank wall to a shipped screen in four steps

Every project runs the same way, so nobody has to ask what happens next. Four steps, and each one ends with something you can look at.

  1. A grid of yellow sticky notes on a wall, a hand placing the last one
    01

    Start on the wall

The problem goes up where everyone can see it — one room, one hour, and every assumption written down.

  2. Coloured pencils around a blank sheet of paper on brown card
    02

    Sketch before pixels

Rough wireframes on paper first. They are quick to draw, quicker to discard, and they settle the layout early.

  3. A designer seen from behind, in headphones, at a curved monitor showing a style guide with colour swatches, in a dark blue room with a desk lamp and a plant
    03

    Design in the open

Screens go up on a shared board as they are built, so feedback arrives while it is still cheap to act on.

  4. A long wooden table with chairs in a bright room with wooden beams
    04

    Review, then ship

The whole team walks the final flow together before it goes out. Nothing ships on one person's opinion.
